**Please note this class is held at The Playground, about five minutes east of the city.**
For graduates of Leash Reactivity who want to put their dog’s brain to work, this special class includes Nosework, Agility, Tricks, Rally-O, Competitive Obedience and TEAM exercises, all in an environment designed so your dog doesn’t go over threshold.
Reactive dogs are some of the smartest dogs, but a typical sport class would likely be difficult if not impossible to navigate. However, our reactive dogs deserve to learn new skills and show how smart they can be. Plus there are many sports that offer online submissions and titling programs. Continuing training with our reactive dogs allows them to continue to build confidence and skill, while keeping them working them alongside a few other dogs in a controlled environment.
Just like in Leash Reactivity, dogs will take breaks throughout the class. Typically there will be at least four dogs in-building. If you are unsure if your dog is ready for Sport for Reactive Dogs, please give us a shout and we’ll be happy to help you out.
